As I reflect on this weeks' post, I decided to choose an article that I have just completed. I chose "coaching" because I have just completed a teacher observation. I used a pre observation, teacher self assessment and recorded my teacher observation. During our post observation, we were able to reflect on the strategies which focused on the specific CSTP 4.4, which was agreed upon by both myself and volunteer teacher.

This is something I realize that teachers need in order to feel supported and to continue to grow in the profession. Teachers need support, feedback and instructional strategies to meet their needs and needs of their students. As a future, coach and equity driven leader, this is something I need to consistently advocate for especially since I believe in the process.

This article was a great read I will close with this quote from the article, which I completely agree with, "Coaching can help create the conditions necessary for instructional practices to change and student outcomes to improve. Coaching is an embedded support that attempts to respond to student and teacher needs ongoing, consistent dedicated ways" (Aguilar, 2013, p 3).

To me it seems like a win win for administrators, teachers and students. So why not do it?
