Not only does an equity - driven leader have equity focused content but characteristics also include 1) creating opportunities for growth 2) Engage in communities were leaders learn together collaboratively 3) Embed themselves in the resources offered to learning and coaching for principals 4) Participate in differentiated support for principals (whole group instruction, small group instruction, having a mentor) and 5) Use inquiry, which is, the process through which leaders can study their own leadership practices as well as teaching and learning in their schools (Rimmer, 2017, p103).
